Separation and divorce are tough. Divorce counselling from an online counsellor will help get you through.
I specialise in divorce counselling for parents and partners, helping you navigate through difficult times.
My goal as an online counsellor is to provide a safe space for reflection and support during these transitions.
Building your skills in mindfulness will give you another tool to help you as you move through this part of your life with specialised divorce counselling.
As an online counsellor, I can help you learn mindfulness techniques, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve your overall well-being.
Going through the family law system and court is a stressful time. As a former solicitor and current mediator, I offer divorce counselling as an online counsellor.
I am very familiar with what you're going through. Let's unpack your thoughts as you prepare for court and as you get ready for the next steps after court. Whether it's for children's issues or financial or both, I've got you.
If I look familiar to you, that might be because you recognise me from ArgyllMediation.com.au I am a nationally accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (mediator) under the Family Law Act.
My clients kept seeking counselling from me, so it seemed natural to offer counselling as a service.
I spent a few decades as a Registered Nurse before re-training to be a solicitor then mediator, and along the way, picked up counselling. I have extensive training and experience in domestic violence, child development, high conflict personalities and dynamics, drug & alcohol issues, mental health issues, and supporting friends and family of people with problematic behaviours.
Let's talk to identify and manage stress in healthy ways. I have extensive training in mental health, domestic violence and drug & alcohol issues. I will provide online counselling and support to help you develop coping skills, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve your overall well-being.
I've completed the SMART Recovery facilitator training.
If it's the other party with the problematic behaviour, let's talk about how you can develop coping strategies. An online counsellor provides counselling where you're most comfortable. Separation and divorce counselling with discretion, provacy and an understanding ear.
I've got a network of holistic and complementary modality practitioners to refer you to if that is what you want in this journey, not just divorce counselling! I refer only to modalities that have research based evidence to back them up.
I only use evidence-based techniques to help you cultivate gratitude, resilience, and optimism, and improve your overall well-being. As an online counsellor, I'm here to help.

I am based in the Granite Belt region of South East Queensland, just near the border of NSW, about halfway between Stanthorpe and Tenterfield. I grew up in Sydney and spent 10 years in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. My children went to school in New Zealand when we lived there.
I offer online appointment via Zoom, so you can talk in the comfort of your own home. No parking hassles!
I use a variety of approaches, depending on what you have found works for you. I use a person centred approach, trusting that you can improve your symptoms and your life. I like approaches that focus on the here and now and on current problems. Dialectical behaviour therapy is a fave of mine for encouraging you to develop your wise mind. Another approach is Reality Therapy which promotes your individual responsibility for your actions while helping you to make decisions that are in line with your values and hopes for your future. I also use Mindfulness-Based counselling to focus on the connection between the body and the mind.
In your first session, I invite you to tell me why you've sought counselling. What's going on in your life right now and what you hope for as a result of coming to counselling. I'll explain about confidentiality and privacy and my fees.
